For clinicians

Fast access to care is one of the few levers that works upstream, before a crisis. Central Oregon clinicians can help build it.

Why the Care Network matters

When a school counselor, a teacher or a parent notices that a young person is struggling, what happens next matters. If the next step is a long wait for a first appointment, that young person and their family are left on their own at the hardest time.

The Care Network is a roster of Central Oregon clinicians who commit to seeing referred young people quickly. Referrals come from schools, school counselors and families.

What joining means

This is a draft for discussion with the clinicians who join first; the founding board will set the final terms.

  • Agree to triage referrals within a set number of business days.
  • Optional training in behavioral threat assessment and youth suicide risk.
  • A monthly peer consultation group with other members.
